Your Home Building Journey: From Vision to Reality

Preliminaries

This phase includes constant monitoring and interaction. We keep an eye on budgets to ensure we are on target,  stay on top of schedules for timely delivery and work closely with the design team to turn your vision into a reality. 

  • Once you have purchased your house or land, the design process can begin.
  • Site Survey required. This gives us a indication on the fall of the block and if there are any easements in the construction Zone. 
  • Budget. Set a clear budget for not only yourselves but our design team. This will ensure standout features are allocated and cost effective choices can be made to suit.
  • Tell us about yourself. Share vision boards with us, tell us about your work life, family and hobbies, send us any inspiration no matter how big or small - We want to see it all!





Initial Meeting

  • You will meet directly with Nathan to discuss designs and sign our design contract and discuss the following 
  • Style and interior design.
  • Layout and Floor plan.
  • Facade.
  • Budget.
  • Site Conditions.
  • Timing/Planning.
  • How many bathrooms/bedrooms ECT.
  • Whats on the wish lists and what is a 'must have' - P.s We will work to make it all achievable within your means. 





Design Concepts

  • After the initial meeting and the design contract is signed. We will create the first design to share with you and recommend a path in which we move forward.
  • We Spend a lot more time going through the concept and design phase then any other to ensure your vision is brought to life.
  • Once you have approved the design concept we then send off the plans for BASIX, Engineers and Landscape Architects.
  • The next step is submission to the relevant authority. There are 2 routes we can take through Development Application. Submitting the construction plans to the relevant council or Complying Development Certificate where plans are submitted and accepted by a Private Certifier (PCA)

Construction

  • The most exciting part - You will receive notice of when construction will be commencing 
  • A flexible timeline of events will be outlined for your convenience 
  • The construction will commence and your new home will soon begin to take its shape!
  • You are welcome to contact Nathan throughout to schedule site visits throughout the construction of your home. 

Post-Construction

  • The last step in any build. 
  • This phase includes a thorough handover, systems training, final inspections and move-in coordination. 
  • After completion, we have a final walkthrough to ensure your complete satisfaction.
